My husband and I will be looking at purchasing a house in February (2017) as we are under lease until May and I know it often takes a while for the whole process. We have just recently been talking with a Mortgage Broker from the Woodlands and have began the pre-approval process to see where we stand as far as what we can afford etc. We have done tons of research on the area and have narrowed it down to The Woodlands area.\n\nI have reached out to a few real estate agents with a lot of questions but I have yet to find someone who seems interested in taking us on and it is a bit frustrating. As first time home buyers we have so many questions and we will be visiting the area in September for the first time just to see the exact area we like but we are kind of lost in the whole process. We mainly want to know the best areas to find newer houses (preferably without HOA) and that are close to shopping/entertainment etc.\n\nIs it to soon to be talking with a realtor?
